Photo Diary Part XI

NI Boys' Sub!

The latest addition to our selection of photo diaries tells the tale of Mark and his chums who came all the way from Northern Ireland just to do the subcrawl (well that's our story anyway).

Comments and mini-photos courtesy of Mark himself. (Thumbnails only at the moment - full size pics to follow)

"A Monday afternoon. 3pm. Glasgow city. Five exuberant and lively students from Northern Ireland set off on an adventure that would take them around the city on one of the oldest subways to the dodgiest areas and the scariest pubs (i.e. Rangers supporters' bars). The challenge was simple: 15 stops, 15 pints. Though not the first to take the challenge, we gallant few endeavoured to go as far as our stomachs would take us - and beyond!

Fat Boab's

Fat Boab's, 7.30pm. This was actually the first pub we visited when we arrived on Thursday.

My phone battery died shortly after. Needless to say we lasted 'til the next stop, at which point we tapped out due to serious exhaustion."
